Early Dismissals and Emergency Dismissals

Emergency Dismissals

Early Emergency Dismissals may be called at any time due to increasingly severe weather conditions, extended loss of electricity or water, or any other event where staying at school would be unsafe.

Notification about any Emergency Early

Dismissals will be by:

*Automated call to the phone numbers

you have supplied to us

*Local radio stations

*Local television stations

We are unable to dismiss children to their parents/guardians within 20 minutes of the announced emergency dismissal time.

For example, if an emergency dismissal

will be at 1:00 pm, you must contact

the school and pick up your child

no later than 12:40 pm.

You may pick up your child(ren)

"extra" early, just call the office and

inform us.

Half-Day & Early Dismissals

Scheduled Half Day and Early Dismissals are built into the school district's calendar and occur before each holiday break and each marking period end. The dismissal time is 11:45 AM.

Inform the school prior to 10:00 am for student pick up and be at the school by 11:35am
